Author's Prayer

In 2004, at the beginning stages of this project, I felt it was important to write this prayer, which was given at regular intervals during the creation of this book.

Beloved Father,

Help me to gather up my years of research and experiences and bring them together into a work that is acceptable to Thee and mankind. Let truth prevail. Let our hearts and minds be opened to Thy sacred keys for right living. Let all see these universal simple rules for right living, to simplify life and enjoy our divine nature as Your sons and daughters. Let us find our inner peace and fulfillment as co-creators with Thee.

Let this book raise the level of understanding among us. Let its truths be so self-evident that no one will ever again consider that their religion is the only “right” one. Let the quarreling and unnecessary suffering fade away. Let us establish a higher foundation of understanding that can make possible the creation of a new Golden Age of peace, prosperity, and divine attunement.

Guide me, Father, every step of the way. Let this book appeal to the hearts of all who have ever sensed how foolish and how wrong it is for men to fight each other in Thy Name. Let this book clearly demonstrate our oneness, our brotherhood, and our mutual love of Thy great self in each one. Let peace, blessings, and illumination radiate from every page of this text. May Thy Light expose the darkness. May the simple way common in all sacred texts shine forth.
